Speaking about the operations performed, Professor Doctor Mustafa Yuksel, President of the Pectus Association, said, "I am the founder and still the president of the Pectus Association. Our Pectus Awareness Week We organized a one-day workshop at Sancaktepe Martyr Professor Doctor Ilhan Varank Training and Research Hospital because of the awareness week we celebrated all over the world on June 21 - 27. In this activity, we operated on five pectus patients until noon, five of whom we found through the association, who could not reach any center in need. We finished the second surgery of the operations. We have three more surgeries after that.

 

Pectus means chest wall deformity. there is one menstruation in 300 births. If it is collapsed inward, shoemaker's chest, if it is dislocated outward, we give it pigeon breast.
